How to use it

From the file to the windscreen in four steps

Page 1 holds the instructions and the details table. Pages 2 to 4 are the stickers.

  1. Fill in your details

Fleet name, your contact, whether audio is recorded, and the link behind your QR.

  2. Edit the stickers

Replace each [bracket]. Delete the sheets and the audio line you do not need.

  3. Print at 100%

Turn off "fit to page" and check the 50 mm scale bar with a ruler.

  4. Cut and fit

Cut along the dashed lines. Fit them where people see them, never over the driver's view.

What should a notice sticker say?

A good sticker is short. It says what is fitted, why, and who to ask.

  • What: tracking, cameras, or a camera facing the driver.
  • Why: safety and fleet management, in plain words.
  • Sound: say honestly whether audio is recorded.
  • Who to ask: your fleet name and contact, and a QR to your policy.

Where should you fit them?

  • Outside glass or the door, so people see it before they enter.
  • Inside the cab, next to the driver seat, at eye level when seated.
  • In the passenger area or bus aisle, where passengers can read it.
  • Never over the driver's view, the mirrors or any required marking.

How do you print and cut them?

Print at 100% on self-adhesive label or vinyl that suits the surface. Cut along the dashed lines. The dark band holds the headline, so use a printer that covers it well.

Test one first

Stick one sticker on the real surface and leave it a few days in the sun before you print the batch.

What should you avoid?

  • Logos or phrases that suggest approval by an authority.
  • A contact that is not yours. The sticker names your fleet.
  • An audio line that is not true. Edit it to match the system.

Limits of this template

A sticker informs people. It does not replace the policy, the driver notice or legal advice. Some places require a notice in a specific form or language. Your legal adviser will tell you.

Questions

Notice sticker questions, answered

Need notices for a whole fleet? Talk to Tracom.

Can I change the wording?

Yes. Every sticker is editable text. Keep it short and true, and ask your legal adviser to confirm the final wording.

Why are the stickers in two languages?

Drivers, passengers and visitors in the Gulf read Arabic, English or both. The language of the file you download is the large one on each sticker.

Does a sticker satisfy a law?

We do not say that. Some places require a notice in a specific form, size or language. Ask your legal adviser what applies to you.

Why is the contact my fleet and not Tracom?

Your fleet decides how recordings are used, so people should ask you. Tracom makes the devices and does not answer for your fleet.

What material should I print on?

Self-adhesive label or vinyl that suits the surface. For glass, ask your supplier for a material made for it, and test one sticker first.

What is Tracom's role here?

Tracom makes the devices. The stickers are a neutral template. They do not replace your policy or legal advice, and they do not say that any law is met.
