What is Asateel?
Asateel is the platform that the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) in Abu Dhabi created for commercial transport. Companies register there, add their vehicles, install tracking devices to activate them, and request permits for active vehicles.
The ITC goods transport regulation (Resolution 74 of 2021) covers heavy and light goods vehicles, trailers connected to heavy vehicles, and motorcycles. Passenger buses have their own ITC regulation. Supplier guides also name buses carrying more than nine passengers: confirm that in the current ITC text.
How to use the pack
- Fill the pack details. Company, licence number, Asateel account reference and who prepared it.
- Keep Part C current. It is the one list of vehicles and devices. Update it when a vehicle is added, sold or re-equipped.
- Print Part D per vehicle. The installer fills it on the day and runs the seven tests. Attach the photos.
- List the attachments in Part B. Write what the current ITC text asks for and where each document comes from.
What the installation certificate records
The certificate has five blocks: vehicle, device, installation, tests and signatures. Every label is in English and Arabic on the same line, so one page serves a bilingual file. The tests are: position received, ignition events, movement and speed, an alarm test, device fixed and concealed, photos taken, and Asateel status.
Supplier guides mention an installation certificate per vehicle. We found no official ITC form, so this certificate is a template. Confirm with ITC or your approved provider that the format is accepted.
Check the device list at the source
ITC publishes a list of tracking devices as a PDF. It changes. Open the current version, find your provider and the exact model, and print the page with its date. Keep the printout with Part B. This template does not say what the list contains.
Limits of the pack
The pack organizes documents. It is not the Asateel application, it is not legal advice, and it does not say that any company, vehicle or device is approved. Passenger buses, school transport and other permit types have their own pages at ITC.
